VGIK is a sports club in Vittsjö, Skåne (Hässleholms County).
The Club was founded on the 22th of November 1933 and is active in football and athletics.
In the late 70's and early 80's began the foundation for girls and women's football with Kalle Olsson and Göran Gunnarsson. Since then, football has developed and VGIKs girls' team has won several victories including the Gothia Cup, serveral "Skånska Championships" and various series system. In 2009 began the the women's team in Division 1 and 2011 the club won the series and then went up in the highest division in Sweden - The women's Premier Leauge (damallsvenskan). To meet the new requirements for Damallsvenskan a new arena was built in 2012 - Vittsjö IP with seats for 1,500 spectators. In conjunction with the new fotball arena also began construction of a new track and field stadium for the athletics.
In VGIK is also a very skilled in athletics with many promising talents.
Vittsjö GIKs soccer girls have teams from six years and up to seniors. Athletics has been training for young children three groups once a week.
In VGIK is enjoyment and fellowship are important factors.
